Position Summary
We are seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to support cloud infrastructure project and production environments. This position will assist with the implementation, deployment, configuration, monitoring, testing, and maintenance of cloud-based systems and services.
The Junior Cloud Engineer will work under direct supervision and support more experienced cloud personnel with day-to-day cloud infrastructure operations and technical activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure project and production environments.
Assist with the implementation, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based systems and services.
Support cloud-based software and SaaS/PaaS environments.
Assist with configuration management and software distribution activities.
Support cloud-based server, network, and storage environments.
Monitor cloud systems and assist with identifying operational and performance issues.
Perform routine troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure, configuration, and deployment issues.
Assist with planning, testing, and implementation of new cloud-based products and services.
Support cloud infrastructure upgrades and improvement activities.
Assist with testing cloud configurations and infrastructure changes.
Document technical issues, configurations, procedures, and resolutions.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior cloud or infrastructure personnel.
Assist with cloud-based mainframe management activities, as applicable.
Support moderately complex cloud projects under the direction of more experienced team members.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
General knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cloud-based technologies.
Experience or familiarity with cloud implementation, deployment, configuration, or operations.
General understanding of SaaS and PaaS environments.
Familiarity with server, network, storage, and configuration management concepts.
Basic experience monitoring, testing, or troubleshooting IT or cloud-based systems.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under direct supervision and follow established technical procedures.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
