Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet their shipping, printing, and retail needs
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
• Assist customers with product demos, explaining features of various shipping supplies, printing services, and retail merchandise
• Upsell additional services such as packaging options, insurance, or promotional items to maximize sales opportunities
• Stock shelves, merchandise products attractively, and ensure the store is clean and organized for an optimal shopping experience
• Manage inventory levels through stocking and merchandising activities while maintaining accurate records
• Handle phone inquiries professionally following proper phone etiquette and assist customers with questions or scheduling appointments

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
• Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies to enhance sales performance
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment similar to grocery store settings
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and attention to detail
• Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and inventory management
